Festas do Mar, Festivals of the Sea, is a summer festival held in Cascais every year. The festival includes music and concerts in Summer. It is organized by the Municipality of Cascais and Tourism of Cascais to emphasize music in Portuguese. It is free to attend this amazing festival. The Baia de Cascais where the festival is held is a stage closest to the Atlantic, which makes it more special. During the festival, there are places to eat and drink around the stage. Moreover, you can sit on the coast “Praia de Riberia” while enjoying the concert and the stunning view.
The festival lasted two weeks this year starting from August 25th to 28th and September 1st to 4th to celebrate life and joy in Cascais. During the festival, there were well-known singers, such as Vitor Kley, the Black Mamba, Os Quatro E Meia, Resistencia, D.A.M.A, Cuca Roseta, Ag?r & Friends, and Sinfonica De Cascais. The festival ended with a collective karaoke. The festival made everyone’s heart melt with the amazing singers, songs, and a beautiful view of Cascais. For tourists, it is a must-see festival; next year is a chance for you to attend this free entrance festival to enjoy the music and view during your trip to Portugal.
