Life in Portugal

After many years of living in this country, we are seeing a continuous increase in food and real estate prices. Unfortunately, it is inadequate to earnings. The minimum salary of around 600€ has increased around 150€ in 10 years.

It is a wonderful country, if you work and earn money in France or England, then you can afford a lot, going out for lunch/dinner or renting a room or apartment in a big city is not a problem. However, it is difficult to find something like that when you have to spend at least 10€ per person for a meal in a restaurant. For a flat from 250€ for a mini room to about 1000€ for an apartment. However, you can still drink a good coffee for around 1€  (maybe not on tourist promenades or chain cafes, but in many bars or cafes there is no problem with that). It is similar with wine, although the times of wine are cheaper than water are over in many places, but in less popular places it is still 1€  per glass. Unfortunately, it cannot be written about attractive tourist places. There you have to take into account the costs of 2-3.5€. Apart from such luxuries, it is possible to survive for 50€  per week without getting too crazy with food or clothes. I have an impression that this country is developing as slowly as the Portuguese's slow pace.

Portugal is proving to be the perfect country for people looking to slow down and reduce ownership. If you have no income above the so-called minimum excess of things is not a threat to us, and there is nothing to hurry :D.
