Portugal? We have always wanted to implement a project here. We even found a partner company willing to organize it, we even went on a preparatory visit. But… it didn't work out. Fortunately, during the same visit we met girls from MBC Portugal. And that was it. With good food and Portuguese wine, we managed to discuss all the details and a few months later, together with a group of students, we ended up in Lisbon. Everything was well-organized, everyone at MBC ready to help whenever needed, trips with Ania and Aga, Portuguese classes with Augusto and, above all, great internships for our students.
They took place in restaurants and hotels popular with guests, where our students learned a lot by observing the practical aspects of work in their future professions. Even communication problems did not hinder learning, improving qualifications and making new friends. The willingness on both sides – students’ and their mentors’ was enough and everything could be shown, said, explained and done. It was the perfect way to acquire not only new professional skills, but also to learn foreign languages.
In short, one of the best project trips in our history. And we still cannot forget the sunny June in this beautiful city, delicious food and the friendly people we met here.
