I want to tell you about my story of choosing Lisbon as my Erasmus place. As an Erasmus student, I have been in Europe before. The first place that I did my Erasmus was Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic.

The starting point for MA Projects cooperation with foreign partners (including MBC Portugal) was our need to find a partner organization to implement Erasmus+ and POWER projects with.

After many years of living in this country, we are seeing a continuous increase in food and real estate prices. Unfortunately, it is inadequate to earnings. The minimum salary of around 600€ has increased around 150€ in 10 years.

The Erasmus Student Exchange Programme gave me the chance. A trip for half a year to a country at the end of Europe, to a country whose subjective image I have painted in my imagination, was perhaps the most difficult decision in my life.

As you know Peniche is popular mainly among surfers because of many beautiful beaches with perfect conditions for surfing. But you cannot forget about one thing - about the Berlengas archipelago which is located around 10km from Peniche.

As you know, every bigger city has points from which you can enjoy beautiful views. In case of Lisbon is the same because of many “Miradouros”.

While studying Iberian studies, at the beginning I wanted to go to Spain to feel like a real Don Quijote de la Mancha ;) but also to experience an interesting adventure in a country where life begins after 9 pm and ends in the morning.

If you have already passed Lisbon length and breadth. You know almost every corner. You like to spend your time walking or cycling. And during your vacation you still have time to do something interesting. Then, this proposal can be for you.

Trams, buses, metros, ferries, taxis, Uber or Taxify, and walking are all options for getting around Lisbon. There's also a government-run bike-sharing program, albeit it's not the most well-thought-out or functional.

Looking at everyone's life, we see that the most important concerns are safety and peace of mind, and I think both of these are located in Portugal.
